Park

No matter what the weather, the Park will always be that one place that can put a smile right under your nose. It could also bring back memories perhaps; like the time when you were buying your first Vanilla Ice Cream. The sound of the trees' leaves rustling along with the birds chirping; it makes you feel like you're in some romance cartoon. Go ahead, take a stroll in this classy place, or maybe go to the playground and unleash the kid in you. Anything is possible with your imagination.

Falling back on a park bench, with his eyes set to the clouds, Hiroku lets out a sigh.

"It's going to take a while to move everything into the place...", He mutters to himself.

"...It's much too big, and I simply cannot believe I actually denied that financial support. This is perhaps one of my biggest regrets.... At least the cafe accepted my application."

Hiroku glances around, glad to see no one has heard him talking to himself. Nonetheless, he lets out another sigh.

With no one to talk to at the moment, how would he face the loneliness of the day?

"Mhm... I guess I should go check out the cafe and ask a few questions." Hiroku says, playing with his bangs for a bit.

"-Maybe someone's working the night shift. I could get something to eat, then..."

He stands up and leaves.

Another day has started.

"Ah, good morning, Halloween.." Yuuki yawned and stretched her arms.

She sat on the swing and waited for her friends to arrive.

'I wonder what costume should I wear.. a cosplay perhaps? Oh, oh, cross-play! Hehee =w =. I hope everyone could join what Hiro-chan has planned for today..' She looked up the sunlit sky, wondering on all sorts of things.

Kiseki drags her luggage behind her, with Alieiynne following shortly behind, tottering with a heavy load on her back and muttering "I'm fine, I'm fine."

"I knew I should've brought a map..." she mutters, puting slightly. She looks around and sees someone on a swing.

"-Um, excuse me!" she calls out

Yuuki stood up and turned to see who it was.

She tilted her head and whispered to herself, "..Kie? Alieiynne?"

She wasn't sure if it really was them; so she wasn't acting like a retard just yet.

tak-shh tak-shh tak-shh tak-shh

the sound of footsteps dragged through the pathway near the reddened shrubs as Miaki kicked then stepped, kicked then stepped...


"Kagami mitsume fui ni omou, kimi to mirai..."

She sang to herself as dappled sunlight fell on the cement in front of her, all the while she thought:

"A wonderful morning yet again~ well, I'm not sure what I'll be doing here for my first few weeks in town...? Halloween is coming up, I wonder what's going on."

"...Itsumo sukoshi fuan nano sa, tsurai..."

The morning breeze ran through the fire-colored leaves and ruffled her lengthy black hair.

"Ahhh~ The breeze! *she breathes in and out deeply* I'm pretty sure some of my friends have something planned out... Oh yeah! there was something Hiroku conjured up! Forgot to check what it was, but I hope I can join it, or at least help."

"...Akogareru kimochi wa, aoi shirushi desuka, Takuwaetekita yume naraba mada yawarakai..."

As she kicked the ground along the path, she glanced at her watch.

"7:30am, hmm. I guess no one is here yet. I'll just walk here for a little more, and since Hune's not here yet, i'll go get breakfast if I can't find anyone..."

as she did just that, she sang a little louder.

"Woah woah, kono machi de wa dare mo ga mina jibun igai no nanika ni nari tagaru
Ima no boku ga sou dakedo~"

She softened her footsteps and began walking normally, voice increasing in volume.

"Woah woah mukai kaze mo toori kaze mo oi kaze to iikikase
Samui sora ni ho o age susume..."

Her soprano voice wafted in the park in sync with the incessant wind. She walked on hoping to find someone to talk to.

Kiseki pauses and blinks for a moment, and soon approaches the other person.

"Excuse me, can y- YUUKI?!" she exclaims, dropping her bag upon seeing the other person more closely.

"Yuuki, is that you?!"


Alieiynne stares at Kiseki, confused.

"...Are you sure that's her?" she says.

Kiseki nods.

"Absolutely!" She shouts, covering her mouth shortly after. "Oh how embarssing. I'm being too loud."

"KIEEE~♥ BROOOTHER~♥ Yes it is I, Yuuki! I thought dying my hair would be cool, y/y? Long time no see~ I missed you guys. ; u;" She gave Kie a short hug, and Alieiynne too.

"This Halloween is gonna be awesome~" She added.

The petite girl slows her walking pace as she nears the playground and hears distant voices.

"Oh, there are already people here~" she thinks to herself, with deteriorating eyesight, she can't really make out who they are.

"Yuukiimissedyousomuch. Thatlookssocoolonyou. Aughimissedyoouuuuuuuu" Kiseki says, shaky, unable to hold her excitement.

Alieiynne just smiles.

"So how's the Prosecutor...?" the latter asks.
"-I mean, Hiroku."

"Thanks~ And Bleh, I missed you more. c:<" Yuuki wiggled to join Kie's excitement. (( lolwhat ))

Still wiggling, she told Alieiynne, "Doing fine, probably in Café Esprit.. He's a cook during the morning! Pfft, cock during the morning... ' u' Do I see Miaki?" she turned her head to where the girl she mentioned was.

Kie stops for a moment.
"Miaki?! Where?!" she exclaims again, looking around.

Alieiynne brings out her phone and starts texting.

Miaki stopped and stared into the distance, where the chattering was coming from. she sees three...four people?

Her eyesight isn't that good anymore. ((XD))

She resumed walking, but at a freakishly slow pace, unable to discern the figures at the swing.

"Kono machi de wa daremo ga minna jibun igai no nanika ni, naritagaru, boku wo..."

she sang the one last line soulfully enough to be heard throughout the playground...

Yuuki smiled and nodded her head.

'That's her alright. There's no mistaking whose voice that was, hehe!'

"Over there," she told Kie, still looking at where Miaki was.

Kie blinks

"Oh," She mutters

"MIAKIIIIII!!!!~~~"


Alieiynne resumes her texting.

Miaki loses her footing and nearly trips, grunting loudly.

"NE?? UHH...YUUKI?? KIE?? OHMAIGAWD KIE AND AILEIYNNE??"

She tries running, then trips oh-so-ungracefully.

The girl still forms her cheeky grin of excitement as her eyes brighten up.
"OH MY GOD KIE!!!!!!!"

Alieiynne nearly drops her cellphone from the commmotion.

"Ack, are you okay, Miaki? o_o;; "

Kiseki pats Alieiynne's head.

"Don't worry, that's normal. Think about it carefully an you'll realize we're all kind of accident-prone when excited~"

"That....Isn't a good thing, Kie."

"....Yeah." ^^;;;

"OH MY GOOOOOOD!!!" Miaki yells out, getting up and running awkwardly towards the two girls lugging lots of bags.

"HAHA! YOU BET! I'M THE MOST ACCIDENT PRONE HERE!!"

she nearly trips, again.

"Kie!!! Ai!!!" she screams one last time, engulfing both girls in a tight embrace, laughing gleefully.

"aaaahh hahaha... I-I-I... guys! I missed you so muuuuch! ahahaha!"

Alieiynne gives Miaki a worried look.
"Really. Really, now. I guess I have a new nickname." she mutters to herself.

Kiseki joins the Miaki's laughter. She then glances to Yuuki.

"I guess...we should celebrate our reunion?"

"ahahahaha! But I've always called you Ai!" XD

Miaki laughs and lets out a few tears, and in her enjoyment-snorts really loudly.

She lets go of the two for a little then gives her normal 'good morning hug' to Yuuki.

"W-we should ser-seriously celebrate, ne!!" She exclaims excitedly, holding Kie's hand in her left, Aileiynne's in her right.

"SHIT guys! it's been... FOREVARRR! hahah-haha! *she snorts* I thought there were like four or five people here because of your luggage, hahaha! Oh-em-gee, I should tell Hune and Hiroku!!"

Miaki brings out her phone and, being her uncontrollably jittery self, starts texting said recipients.

"Thanks for the hug, Deidei~ Hehe, it's fun seeing you guys like this~ And yes we should! Off to Café Esprit to taste the touch of French styled cooking! c:<" Yuuki grinned.

"..And do you guys need help with the luggage? ^^;" she asked the both of them.

Launching a euo look at Yuuki, Miaki fired up even more and started talking really fast.

"Ne! d-dude, haha, don't call me Deidei! I have an endless list of nicknames but THAT-THAT'S N-NOT ONE, DUDE! xD AND YES! TO THE CAFE! Maybe Hiroku is there already! And-and-and- yes, the luggage, yeah! I'll help! I'll help!"

In her excitement, she lifts up nearly half the luggage almost effortlessly-she hit her calf when she fell after all. With the same cheeky grin she said "We can drop this off at my place! It's really near!"

Kiseki takes a moment to take in all that was said in the past minutes.

"...Maybe we can go to Rokun's place first?" She asks.

"That's where I'll be staying, after all."

"Jiii-!" Miaki chirps, nearly dropping the luggage.

"Right! TO THE INCREDIBLY GARGANTUAN MANSION!!!"

she dashes off quickly, leaving everyone else all "o.o"
